The Geetartha Baruah Memorial Lecture Programme was held at Jorhat College on 11th September 2025 to commemorate the birthday of Geetartha Baruah, a distinguished Cirojecian. The lecture was delivered on the topic "The Status and Challenges of 21st Century Youth" by Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia, Vice Chancellor of Jagannath Barooah University.

Jorhat College's Assamese department, in collaboration with NSS, Music Club, and Literary Club, celebrated Dr. Bhupen Hazarika's birth centenary on September 8, 2025. The event featured song and dance performances, as well as a keynote speech by Nibedita Sangkakati, a retired professor from DCB College.
